New Webflow website and optimised identity system for Comhar Housing
Comhar Housing is a not-for-profit Approved Housing Body (AHB) providing long-term, sustainable housing solutions to those in need. The organisation had an existing identity and website in place, but required a more considered and consistent brand presentation, along with a redesigned and future-ready website to better serve its tenants and stakeholders.
Supporting sustainable communities
DesignChief was brought on board to strengthen the identity system and redesign the website from the ground up. The updated platform brings a clearer structure, enhanced content management, and a more modern visual style that reflects the values of Comhar Housing.
Identity refinement and responsive logo system
The original logo featured a recognisable house-and-tree motif, but required optimisation to improve its performance across modern applications. DesignChief refined the typography and structure, and created a full responsive logo suite including stacked, horizontal and icon-only formats. The updated assets allow for more flexibility in marketing and digital communications.
An accompanying online style guide was developed to support the internal team in using the identity consistently across print and digital touchpoints.
A more functional website experience
The new website was designed in Figma, with prototypes shared throughout the process for feedback and approval. The site was then built in Webflow, replacing the client’s legacy CMS and providing a much smoother editing experience for internal users.
Content was migrated and restructured to create clear sections for housing estates, organisational updates, and tenant resources. Each estate has its own profile, allowing Comhar Housing to showcase its properties while keeping the tone community-focused and informative.
A platform for the future
The completed platform provides Comhar Housing with a more professional and credible online presence. It simplifies content management and allows the organisation to grow its communications with confidence, while continuing to serve its core mission of delivering better housing outcomes across Ireland.
