DesignChief partnered with Midwest Games to deliver a website that reflects their creative ambition and provides a scalable platform to support a growing game catalogue and global audience.

Website Design & Webflow Development

Midwest Games approached DesignChief via the Webflow Experts programme, looking to replace their existing site with something more robust, flexible, and visually expressive. As a game publisher championing independent developers, it was vital that the new website could support regular updates and showcase new titles with ease.

DesignChief led the project from initial design concepts in Figma through to final development in Webflow. The site was structured around a fully integrated CMS, enabling the internal team to publish and manage content including new games, news updates, and editorial content without additional support. A light/dark mode toggle was also implemented to give users greater control over the visual experience and to align with the aesthetic expectations of the gaming community.

Visual Identity & Brand Expression

While the Midwest Games identity was already established, DesignChief worked to apply it consistently across the new site. Design decisions were informed by supplied brand guidelines and evolved into a full digital system, with layouts, typography, and colour usage fine-tuned for accessibility and impact.

At the time of development, only a limited set of game assets was available, so AI-assisted visuals were created to evoke the mood and imagination of the gaming world. These were used selectively across hero sections and page templates to ensure the site felt rich and immersive at launch.
